Beautiful little road-side pull-out along the Palms-to-Pines Highway. I'll mention right away that this parking area has a garbage can to dispose of your travelling trash (that's what I call the small incidental stuff that you generate while on a road trip). This is a big deal, as I've found here in southern California - there are a few pull-outs that don't provide any garbage disposal, ie: garbage can would be a good start, and travellers just throw their junk around the parking lots. That's pretty sad, when you're in a scenic overlook, and all you see is garbage blowing around. Having said that, THIS vista point does have garbage cans, and it's a nice clean area - with some easy walks from the parking area to the vista points. This was a joy to stop at and stretch our legs, breathe in some really fresh air, and on our way again.

Awesome spot along the "Pines to Palms" highway. Was pretty empty when we stopped. Offers great views of desert canyons and plant life. Very quiet if you walk down away from the road. We saw a couple with folding chairs set up by the edge of a cliff with a view and some beers!
